The BCA houses six performance spaces: The BCA Plaza Theatre, The Plaza Black Box Theatre, The Roberts Studio Theatre, The Virginia Wimberly Theatre, Rehearsal Hall A and Deane Rehearsal Hall. All theatres, lobbies, the Box Office and the public restrooms are handicap accessible.

Plaza Black Box Theatre

•    A three-quarter thrust configuration with fixed seating and raised audience risers

•    Unique shape, with approximately 675 sq. feet of stage space and 750 sq. feet of backstage space

•    Heated and air-conditioned

Hall A & Deane Hall (in the Calderwood Pavilion)

•    Flexible performance, rehearsal and event spaces in the Calderwood Pavilion at the BCA, measuring 1,675 sq. feet
•    Capacity of 49-100, depending on set-up
•    Sprung floor and mirror wall for dance rehearsal
•    Heated and air-conditioned

Virginia Wimberly Theatre (in the Calderwood Pavilion)

•    A state-of-the-art proscenium theatre ideal for performances, concerts, and dance presentations
•    Audience capacity of 372, with orchestra and mezzanine levels
•    Proscenium Width: 32´; Proscenium Height: 22´; Stage Depth from Apron: 35´; Stage Left to Right: 67´
•    Fly system: 42+ 1,200 lb. Capacity linesets with maximum out trim of 28´

The Nancy and Edward Roberts Studio Theatre (in the Calderwood Pavilion)

•    An intimate, flexible, state-of-the-art black box space measuring 2,490 sq. feet
•    Audience capacity of 157–250 available, depending upon seating configuration
•    One tech booth, backstage green room, dressing rooms, and bathrooms
•    Equipped with a FM hearing enhancement system.
•    Equipped for Audio Described performances.
•    Heated and air-conditioned
